Stock Gift Instructions
Thank you for defending faith, family, and freedom through your support of New Yorker’s Family Research Foundation. A gift of stock is a great way to maximize the value of your investment fully by avoiding capital gains taxes while making a significant gift. Electronic Transfer
The simplest way to make a gift of stock is to contact your broker and electronically transfer the stock from your account to our account at TD Ameritrade Institutional.
- Call New Yorker’s Family Research Foundation’s Charitable Gift Planning office at 1-585-225-2220.
- Provide your name, your phone number, the name of the stock you are giving and the number of shares (e.g., 20 shares of Microsoft) so we can record your gift properly and send you a receipt promptly.
- Call your broker and ask him/her to transfer your stock electronically to NYFRF's account at TD Ameritrade Institutional.
