Pro-Life NYFRF Responds To Jane Fonda’s Remarks
Today on “The View,” actress Jane Fonda said that she has “thought of murder” as a method of fighting for abortion access in a post-Roe America. This comment was laughed off as a joke by host Joy Behar.
Jason J. McGuire, president of New Yorker’s Family Research Foundation, offered the following response:
“Given the spate of violence against churches and pro-life organizations since the Supreme Court decided Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, and given the arrest of a mentally-ill would-be assassin outside Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s house last year, we’re not laughing.”
“Fonda and her fellow travelers believe it is acceptable to murder unborn children for any reason or for no reason at all, so we probably shouldn’t be surprised if she really has thought about committing murder to advance her pro-abortion ideology.”
“Rather than lashing out with hatred against Fonda, pro-life Americans are invited to pray for her and for the hearts of every person who has embraced the lie that abortion is a woman’s right. The pro-life movement is a movement of love and peace.”
“As Mother Teresa once said, ‘It is a poverty to decide that a child must die so that you may live as you wish.'”
