Our Hearts Unite With The Ukrainian People

As the eyes of the world are on events occurring in Ukraine, Jason J. McGuire, president of New Yorker’s Family Research Foundation sat down with His Foundation’s Pat LaBarbera. Pat is a missionary to the Ukrainian people. In this interview Mr. LaBarbera helps the American church understand how to pray for the Ukrainians and world leaders more effectively as these events unfold.

McGuire says, “I am often critical of President Joe Biden’s policies, and I am in this situation as well. I believe that the weakness of the present administration has emboldened Russian President Vladimir Putin to invade Ukraine. Still, I urge Christians to to join our organization in praying for President Biden and his administration during these days.”

“Our ultimate hope is never in a political situation, though. So I leave you with this message for these trying times. Romans 15:13 says, ‘May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope,’” he concluded.
